Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to represent global divisions in the country to drive sales and market growth. Each day, you will oversee sales and marketing activities and support Sales organizations in driving sales and services for their respective products. You will also showcase your expertise by defining, planning, and ensuring the implementation of product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area in Colombia
You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Creating, planning, and ensuring implementation of the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and product positioning in accordance with the global product marketing strategy.
  • Focusing on achievement of the target set for metrics like total demand orders (by ABB and third-party), growth margin percentage, net price variance, Net Promoter Score (NPS), inventory turn on finished goods, and on-time delivery as requested.
  • Evaluating market opportunities, determining appropriate activities aligned with the overall strategy, and coordinating opportunities across local divisions and local business units, as appropriate.
  • Ensuring balanced growth for all product lines, product groups, and business units and creating product demand by promoting technical aspects, providing solutions, and utilizing value-based selling approach.


Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within the medium voltage portfolio.
  • Strong knowledge of the medium voltage product portfolio and market dynamics in Colombia and Ecuador.
  • Proven experience in leading teams, including managing Product Specialists and/or Product Managers (PMs).
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with responsibility for overseeing a team of up to four PMs.
  • Solid background in consultative sales and customer engagement.
  • Intermediate to upper-intermediate English level (B2).
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model based in Colombia.
