Where will you work as a General Construction Project Manager (M/F) ?



We are seeking a Project Manager (M/F) for Building Construction (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) for one of our clients in the energy sector, to be based in Chalon-sur-Saône.

General Construction Project Manager (M/F): What will your duties and responsibilities be?

Reporting to the site project manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of expansion and reliability enhancement projects. You will serve as the direct link between the project office and the field by overseeing construction sites, while ensuring that maintenance requirements are incorporated from the design phase onward. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with safety, budget, and scheduling requirements, and coordinate external contractors to ensure the facilities meet all standards until their official completion. Your active presence on-site allows you to resolve technical issues in real time and safeguard strategic investments related to the site's industrial expansion. To do this, you will:

• Participate in developing the technical specifications for the project
• Supervise all stages of a project, from start to finish
• Address all safety, technical, financial, and interpersonal needs related to the ongoing project
• Manage project schedules
• Recommend suppliers and partners
• Implement preventive measures in case of unforeseen events
• Ensure compliance with budgetary and technical constraints for each project
• Provide regular reporting

What profile and skills are required for this position of General Construction Project Manager (M/F) ?

• You have at least 10-15 years of experience in general construction
• You possess multidisciplinary technical skills and are proficient in project management methods
• You are proficient in planning software (ideally MS Project or Smartsheet)
• You have advanced knowledge of financial management and risk management, and know how to use the associated tools
• You are able to create 2D and 3D plans and are highly skilled in construction site supervision
