Which organization will you join as a PID Designer/Preparer?

We are currently looking, on behalf of one of our clients in the energy sector, for a PID Preparer based in Villeurbanne.

PID Preparer: What will your missions and responsibilities be?
  • Managing the preparation of the master PID and its drafting in coordination with a subcontracting team and the Process team
  • Ensuring consistency of comments in line with contract rules and verifying documentation
  • Adhering to project schedules
  • Creating and monitoring the line list
  • Essential soft skills: organization, autonomy, proactivity, strong interpersonal skills

What profile and skills are required for this PID Preparer position?
  • Master's degree (Bac +5): Junior engineer with at least one internship involving PID work
  • Bachelor's degree (Bac +2): 5 to 10 years of experience in PID preparation for technicians (IUT in chemistry or chemical engineering preferred)
  • Experience in an engineering office (design office) managing PIDs and line lists is essential
  • Fluent French, intermediate English
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, Excel; knowledge of SPPID would be a plus
  • Proven experience in PID preparation
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Experience with Technip process projects is desirable
