Job Description

• Coordination with Contracts Department during tendering stage, to clear all technical issues and finalize the inputs related to coating work, until award of the projects.
• Oversee the completion of the coating projects in accordance with the project specifications & the Contract/PO agreement and planned schedules.
• Manage & control the quality of the coating work on all projects.
• Interface between Clients and NMDC on all stand-alone pipe coating projects.
• Manage & coordinate with PMTs all project related issues

Responsibilities

• On time preparation of the inputs of coating material & durations for all coating projects.
• Lead the communication on all technical matters related to coating projects with the Contracts & Proposal team and the client, to approve the offers given to clients on all jobs during tendering stage.
• On time Issuance of purchase requisitions of coating material, consumables, etc. to Procurement Section and evaluation of the coating suppliers' offers.
• Ensure all the coating performed on all projects is performed in accordance with the project specification, the approved Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
• Ensure all the Quality Control Testing related to the Pipes Coating Projects is performed in accordance with the project specification requirement, the approved Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) & applicable quality standards.
• On time issuance of coating documents (Procedures & ITPS, etc.) and follow up with clients & PMTs to get on time approval before the start of the project. to ICAD-DIR for necessary approval & implementation in accordance with applicable specifications and ensure that the copies of these documents/ procedures are available at the worksite.
• Coordinate with Client inspection personnel & Sub-Contractors (when applicable) and follow up the stage & final releases. Organize and co-ordinate with the concerned Departments/ Sections all matters and activities pertaining to the projects, including but not limited to, interface with other disciplines.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with clients & partners aimed at safeguarding and promoting NPCC's best interests.
• Take necessary action whenever non-conformities are identified during the coating processes.
• Ensure implementation of all HSE rules & regulations in his work area

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil) or equivalent

Minimum 15 years of experience
