Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead local finance teams and act as a business partner to the Marketing, Sales, or Service business manager to optimize financial performance for the organization under scope. Each day, you will support in making effective business-decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate solutions to management.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings/Smart Power Business and the position location will be determined within Asia Pacific Region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Contributing to the definition of strategy for the responsible Sales, Marketing, or Service organization.
• Serving as a key partner for the relevant business leader in determining strategy for your own area of responsibility and developing a global business model, aligning with wider strategy, implementing, and adjusting the implementation plan, as needed.
• Driving appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency with special focus on profitability, demand analysis, go-to-market, Return on Investment (RoI), and sales efficiency.
• Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for your area of responsibility.

Qualifications for the role

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or equivalent.
• 5 - 10 years' experience in Marketing & Sales controllership experience within a global, matrix-driven multinational environment, contributing as a key stakeholder and decision-maker for the business/team.
• Experience with SAP ERP system with exposure to full process of order offer to revenue and cash collection will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with internal controls and group integrity operations guidelines.
• Proven experience operating within global organization and matrix setting, dealing with many stakeholders in different departments and countries with intercultural sensitivity and effectiveness with strong business partnering.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong Business partnering capabilities, combined with project management, consultation, collaboration, change management and influencing skills.
