In which organization will you work as a Rotating Equipment Requisition Manager?

We are currently looking, on behalf of one of our clients in the energy sector, for a Rotating Equipment Requisition Manager, based in Villeurbanne.

Rotating Equipment Requisition Manager: What will be your missions and responsibilities?

You will be responsible for the requisition of process rotating equipment (compressors, fans, agitators, pumps) and/or packages (process packages, refrigeration units, air generation systems, dosing systems, pneumatic conveying, extrusion, etc.).

In the field of rotating equipment and packages, your main tasks will include:

• Preparing technical specifications for tenders
• Reviewing technical bids and conducting clarifications with suppliers
• Preparing technical bid comparison tables
• Preparing equipment requisitions for purchase orders
• Following up on vendor engineering after purchase order placement
• Reviewing and validating supplier documentation
• Coordinating with other engineering disciplines (process, layout, instrumentation, electrical, civil, pressure vessels, etc.)

What profile and skills are required for this position?

• Master's degree (Engineering degree)
• General engineering background, ideally mechanical engineer with a specialization in turbomachinery
• Intermediate to senior level (junior profiles are not considered)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with rotating equipment and/or packages in refining, gas, or petrochemical industries
• Experience within an engineering company or an equipment supplier (e.g., as a project engineer or package engineer)
• Fluent French
• Strong English skills are mandatory (writing technical documents, leading meetings with clients and suppliers, occasional international travel)
