Your role and responsibilities

In this role, your first task is to build up the organization and competence to serve end customers and local service units around the world for service after sales topics of large motors and generators produced in India for the export market. This position includes unit, line manager and P/L responsibility. You collaborate with local and global product and service units and create same look and feel by implementing common Motion Service customer support tools and processes.

This role is contributing to the Motion business based at Vadodara, India:

You will be mainly accountable for:

• As a Business manager for MOSE Motors & Generators BL Unit India, you are in charge of all After Sales support and services for large motors and generators produced and exported from India.
• Your organization has a global responsibility for technical support, product warranty, expert services, spare parts and back-end support for sales of services. Additionally, you will develop and productize life-cycle services and concepts for products under India global responsibility.
• Creating and driving implementation of service strategy as a member of the global Business Line management team. Ensure that strategic plans are implemented consistently in the service organization through collaboration with other businesses. Executes service and sales channel strategy within their own area of responsibility.
• Implements productized service offerings and materials for marketing purposes and invests in service sales to increase market penetration.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or Economics or similar Education.
• 10+ years of experience in leading teams
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, projects and multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for a global organization
• Sound knowledge of large motors and generators
• Outstanding command of the English language.
• Willing to accept international business trip (about 20%)
