The HSE Advisor is responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management System across operations in Pakistan. The role ensures compliance with corporate policies, local regulatory requirements, and international standards, particularly within Oil & Gas (E&P and Services) operations.
This position will work closely with operational teams to promote a strong safety culture, minimize risks, and ensure environmental protection across all activities.

The role ensures compliance with corporate policies, local regulatory requirements, and international standards, particularly within Oil & Gas (E&P and Services) operations.
This position will work closely with operational teams to promote a strong safety culture, minimize risks, and ensure environmental protection across all activities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with Company HSE policies, local Pakistani regulations, and applicable international standards
- Support implementation and maintenance of HSE Management Systems aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure adherence to IOGP Life saving rules.
- Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and hazard identification for oil & gas operations
- Participate in and lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Assist in environmental management programs including waste management, spill prevention, and pollution control
- Support emergency response planning and drills
- Deliver HSE training, inductions, and awareness programs to employees and contractors
- Monitor compliance with environmental requirements including wastewater, emissions, and waste disposal
- Prepare and maintain HSE reports, documentation, and KPI tracking
- Coordinate internal and external audits (compliance, EMS, and best practices)
- Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure safe execution of operations across E&P and service lines

Qualifications
- Preference for candidates based in or willing to work in Karachi
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Petroleum / Mechanical / Chemical) OR Environmental Science
- NEBOSH Certification (Mandatory)
- 3-5 years of HSE experience (minimum) in Oil & Gas industry, specifically in:
- Exploration & Production (E&P)
- Oilfield Services
- Hands-on experience in HSE operations within drilling, production, or field services environments
- Experience with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 systems
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in incident investigation and reporting
- Familiarity with environmental issues such as waste management, spill response, and emissions control
- Experience delivering HSE training programs is an advantage
- Knowledge of auditing (compliance and management systems) preferred
- Preference for candidates with sustainability or ESG exposure
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel to field locations within Pakistan

- Strong commitment to safety, ethics, and environmental stewardship
