We are seeking a Start-up and initial operations supervisor (M/F) for one of our clients in the energy sector, to be based in Donges.

Start-up and initial operations supervisor (M/F): What will your duties and responsibilities be ?

As a Start-up and Initial Operations Supervisor (M/F), you will be involved in the final phase of the start-up process, supporting the local operations team at a new hydrogen production facility. In this role, your main responsibilities will include :

• Participate in the final start-up preparation operations.
• Participate in unit tuning and stabilization activities during the initial startup phase (3x8 shifts, including weekends).
• Participate in the tuning of the production unit, once it has started up and is operating stably, by working 3x8 operational shifts before being placed on standby.
• Participate in analyzing sources of unreliability and false alarms during stable operation, and propose and implement solutions.
• Participate in developing or updating the unit's operating procedures.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the process by proposing areas for improvement.

What profile and skills are required for this position of Start-up and initial operations supervisor (M/F) ?

• You have a background in instrumentation or chemical engineering in an industrial setting
• You have at least 10-15 years of experience in commissioning production units in the chemical industry or in an instrumentation maintenance department
• Fluency in technical English and French is mandatory
