In which organization will you work as a Civil Engineering / VRD Design Officer (H/F)?



We are currently looking for a Civil Engineering / VRD Design Officer (H/F) for one of our clients specialized in engineering and infrastructure, to strengthen their teams on urban development and infrastructure projects.

Position based in Vitrolles, France.

Civil Engineering / VRD Design Officer: What will be your missions and responsibilities?

Within a team dedicated to technical studies, you will be involved in the design and implementation of studies related to VRD projects (Roads and Utility Networks).

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting VRD design studies (roads, water and utility networks, urban development)
• Producing plans and longitudinal / cross profiles using Civil 3D
• Participating in the technical design of projects from preliminary (AVP), detailed (PRO) to tender (DCE) phases
• Modeling projects and producing the necessary technical and graphical documents
• Designing certain structures related to networks and infrastructure
• Analyzing technical, regulatory, and environmental constraints of projects
• Contributing to the preparation of technical documents and study reports
• Collaborating with engineers, draftsmen, and project teams to ensure technical consistency of studies

What profile and skills are required for this VRD Design Officer position?

• Education
Bachelor's to Master's degree (Bac+2 to Bac+5) in Civil Engineering, Public Works, Urban Planning, or equivalent.

• Experience
You have significant experience in VRD studies, in a design office or engineering environment, on urban development or infrastructure projects.

• Skills

• Proficiency in Civil 3D software
• Good knowledge of VRD projects and urban infrastructure
• Ability to produce technical plans and design studies
• Understanding of standards and regulations related to roads and networks
• Strong analytical skills, rigor, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work in a team within a project environment

• Salary and benefits
Compensation according to profile and experience, between ₠30K and ₠45K.
