Where will you work as a PMO (M/F) ?



We are looking for a PMO (M/F) for one of our clients in the energy sector, to be based in Chalon sur Saône.

PMO (M/F): What will your duties and responsibilities be ?

As a PMO (M/F), you will join a Project Management Office and provide essential support to project managers and project teams, ensuring compliance with project management methodologies, standards, and governance. To streamline project activities and improve their overall success, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Provide day-to-day support to project managers and project teams throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project management documentation, including project charters, project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, issue logs, and status reports.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including planning, preparing agendas, distributing meeting minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Monitor project progress against plans and identify variances or potential issues.
  • Support project managers in managing project scope, time, costs, quality, resources, and communications.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of PMO processes and templates.
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on project management methodologies and tools.
  • Conduct project audits to ensure compliance with PMO standards.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze project data to generate accurate and timely reports on project performance.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and project scorecards to visualize key project performance indicators.
  • Identify trends and patterns in project data to support decision-making and improvement.
  • Design and implement effective data management and reporting solutions using Google Sheets.
  • Create compelling presentations using Google Slides to communicate project status and key information to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and increase efficiency.
  • Develop and implement automated solutions using Google Sheets and other tools to streamline tasks and reduce manual effort.
  • Establish and maintain project management routines and workflows.
  • Manage the ordering process for resources and equipment needed for the project, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures. Coordinate the receipt of deliverables (hardware, software, services) and ensure they comply with orders.
  • Monitor the financial aspects of project implementations, including invoice validation and payment tracking.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all procurement and financial transactions related to the project


What profile and skills are required for this position of PMO (M/F) ?

  • You hold a master's degree (or equivalent) in engineering.
  • Additional certifications in project management are strongly preferred (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2).
  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience in a PMO or project support role, ideally in a specific technical industry (construction, electrical, mechanical, etc.).
  • You have proven experience applying project management methodologies, preferably aligned with PMI standards. Strong proficiency with Google Workspace tools is essential.
  • You have an excellent understanding of project management principles and practices, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. You are proficient in data analysis and report writing.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) is desirable, as is knowledge of database management.
  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
