We are looking for an EIA start-up supervisor (M/F) for one of our clients in the energy sector, to be based in Montoir de Bretagne (FR-44).
EIA start-up supervisor (M/F): What will your duties and responsibilities be ?
As an EIA Start-up Supervisor (M/F), you will report to the Site Construction Manager. You will be responsible, within your area of expertise, for ensuring that construction and commissioning work and services are carried out according to the established schedule. Your main responsibilities will include :
- Oversee the works and ensure compliance with the site HSE plan
- Ensure that necessary corrective actions are taken immediately in the event of deviations from the site HSE plan, quality procedures, and schedules
- Assist in drafting work permits and special permits
- Verify that contractors are working with up-to-date documents
- Prepare orders for additional and supplementary work
- Supervise and control the issuance of materials (piping, cables, instrumentation, etc.) in collaboration with the Materials Manager
- Review and comment on contractors' detailed schedules
- Verify progress reports submitted by contractors
- Prepare punch lists and ensure their resolution
- Participate in site meetings with subcontractors and suppliers
- Conduct on-site quality control in accordance with procedures
- Serve as the Engineering/Construction liaison to provide necessary technical assistance to contractors
- Verify that Mechanical Validation and Commissioning Preparation tasks are performed in accordance with the Provisional Operating Files (POF) and Project specifications
- Review daily reports on on-site labor
- Provide regular updates on the status of the construction site
What profile and skills are required for this position of EIA start-up supervisor (M/F) ?
- You have at least 10 years of experience in revamping projects in the petrochemical industry
- You have significant experience with gas facilities (storage, transportation, etc.), as well as in preparing instrumentation and electrical work
- You also have extensive experience in developing Mechanical Validation Files and commissioning preparations
- You are comfortable managing quality acceptance follow-up
- Ideally, you should hold the following certifications and qualifications: GIES 1, GIES 2, ATEX Level 0, scaffolding use, H0B0, scaffolding inspection, fire extinguisher use, and AIPR supervisor certification
- Fluency in technical English and French is mandatory
