We supply large subsea cranes, offshore cranes, and custom-designed winches for rigs and vessels, and we are a leader in motion compensation technology. We also develop remote-controlled lifting systems for tomorrow's operations, with a focus on high reliability, safety, and operational efficiency in demanding environments.
We are now looking for more skilled software/automation engineers who want to help develop innovative and future-oriented machine control systems.
We are seeking candidates in three different locations - Kristiansand, Molde, and Trondheim.
Responsibilities
• Development, implementation, and design of PLC-based machine control systems
• Participate in the further development of automation and digitalization solutions
• Troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of machine control systems
• Interdisciplinary collaboration to optimize solutions
• Provide support and maintenance for existing systems
Qualifications
• Higher technical education (Bachelor's/Master's) in Automation, Computer Science, Electronics, or Mechatronics
• Experience with automation systems and PLC-based HMI solutions
• Knowledge of machine control and industrial automation is an advantage
• Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols is desirable, but not required
