In which organization will you work as Plant & Equipment Manager (M/F)?

We are recruiting, on behalf of our client, a major player in the public works and infrastructure construction sector, a Plant & Equipment Manager / Director (M/F) for an expatriate position based in Casablanca, Morocco.

As part of the development of large-scale infrastructure projects, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's plant and equipment fleet.

This is a strategic position aimed at structuring equipment management and ensuring the availability and performance of the machinery required for infrastructure construction projects.

Plant & Equipment Manager / Director - Expatriation to Morocco (M/F)

What will be your missions and responsibilities?

Plant & Equipment Fleet Management

• Define and implement the plant and equipment management strategy in line with the needs of infrastructure construction sites
• Ensure the availability and performance of equipment for projects
• Optimize fleet utilization and operating costs
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment
• Manage investment decisions, renewals and disposals of equipment

Budget Management

• Prepare and monitor the plant and equipment budget
• Control procurement, rental and maintenance costs
• Implement performance indicators (KPIs)
• Identify and deploy financial optimization opportunities

Team Management

• Lead and supervise plant teams (workshop, maintenance, logistics)
• Structure organization and operational processes
• Develop team skills and promote a strong safety culture
• Ensure coordination with construction teams and site managers

Organization & Performance

• Implement monitoring and reporting tools
• Harmonize practices across the entity
• Contribute to the overall performance of infrastructure projects

What profile and skills are required for this Plant & Equipment Manager / Director position?

Education

Engineering degree or equivalent (Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Public Works, or related field).

Experience

You have 5 to 10 years of experience in plant and equipment fleet management, ideally within infrastructure construction projects.

Experience in team management and budget control is essential.
International experience would be considered an advantage.
