This role plays a key part in strengthening how Castrol's end‑to‑end procurement processes and systems operate globally. You will take ownership of defined process and system improvements, ensuring our ways of working remain clear, consistent, reliable, and aligned to global standards.
Bringing strong SAP MM and Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) solution experience, you will apply this foundation to shape practical, scalable solutions that meet evolving business needs, while continuing to deepen your functional and digital capability.
A core focus of the role is driving process excellence - improving adoption, building user confidence, and helping teams understand the value of new or enhanced ways of working through clear guidance, training, and engagement.
Over time, you will grow into a trusted subject matter expert for procurement processes and systems, supporting bp's ambition for simpler, more digital, and more efficient procurement.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clear, reliable, and consistently applied procurement processes across Castrol, ensuring ways of working are aligned with global standards and governance.
- Strengthen end-to-end process integrity by proactively identifying recurring issues and conducting thorough root cause analyses (RCA) for escalated problems, ensuring underlying causes are addressed and not repeated.
- Drive process simplification and standardization initiatives that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and user-friendly process documentation and playbooks to support confident and consistent ways of working across the organization.
- Design and maintain an accurate, accessible, and easy-to-navigate procurement SharePoint site (intranet portal) that empowers user self‑service and knowledge access.
- Ensure procurement solutions (e.g. SAP MM, JDE, Ariba/S2P) operate reliably and effectively support global procurement process standards.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for IT, making sure solution designs align with business objectives and end-to-end process needs.
- Drive high-quality system enhancements by validating requirements and confirming that User Acceptance Testing (UAT) outcomes deliver the intended business value.
- Shape solution improvements that align system capabilities with user needs and support bp's digital procurement ambitions.
- Promote strong user adoption and confidence in new processes/systems through practical, user‑friendly guidance and self-service learning materials.
- Build procurement capability and readiness through targeted training programs and engagement activities, enabling teams to effectively adopt new or improved ways of working.
- Increase awareness and understanding of process and system changes via clear, timely, and engaging communications to all stakeholders.
Requirement :
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience, with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in procurement process, operations, or process excellence roles within a complex, global organisation.
- Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end procurement processes (S2C and P2P), including supplier management and transactional controls.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP Materials Management (SAP MM), covering purchasing, pricing, supplier/master data, and integration with S2P processes.
- Practical experience with Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) solutions, such as SAP Ariba (e.g. guided buying, sourcing, contracts, supplier lifecycle, invoicing) or equivalent platforms.
- Proven ability to translate business and process needs into clear system requirements and work effectively with IT and delivery teams.
- Experience supporting system changes and enhancements, including participation in user UAT and validation of business outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with experience conducting root‑cause analysis (RCA) and driving improvement actions.
- Clear, confident communication skills, with the ability to explain process and system topics to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, cross‑regional working style.
