MPD Field Specialist Location: Nisku, Canada

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled MPD Field Specialist to join our team in Nisku, Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site support and expertise in managing and operating Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) systems during oil and gas drilling operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of MPD equipment, including rotating control devices, choke manifolds, and associated systems.
• Monitor and analyze real-time data from the MPD system to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations.
• Collaborate with the rig crew, drilling engineers, and other personnel to optimize drilling parameters and mitigate potential well control issues.
• Provide technical guidance and training to rig personnel on MPD operations and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions with the MPD equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to MPD operations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MPD operations, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of MPD principles, equipment, and operational procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using MPD software and data analysis tools.
• Ability to work in a team environment and under pressure.
• Willingness to travel and work on offshore rigs or remote locations as required.
• Valid certifications and licenses relevant to MPD operations.
