JOB DESCRIPTION

The Learning Specialist will report directly to the Learning & Development Operations Manager Americas and will be based in Houston, TX in an on-site capacity. This role is the focal point in supporting the execution of learning initiatives across the Americas, contributing to the development of a skilled, future-ready workforce aligned with Technip Energies strategic priorities.

About The Role:

Your main missions and responsibilities will be to provide general support to the Learning Operations department for the Americas region in the Houston Operating Center.

The Learning Specialist is responsible for coordinating, delivering, and supporting Learning & Development activities across the Americas region. The role ensures smooth execution of global T.EN University programs and regional learning programs, maintains learning data integrity, supports mandatory training completions, and provides first line support for the T.EN U platform.

Learning Implementation and Coordination

• Executes learning and development plans for upskilling and reskilling, defining needs and making recommendations for suitable learning solutions.
• Coordinates with global teams on T.EN University sessions scheduling, budgeting and forecasting. Uploads content to the LMS (T.EN U) via GBS.
• Delivers end-to-end logistics management for T.EN University events in the Americas offices Works with internal facilitators and external learning suppliers, to coordinate logistics, communication and materials for the delivery of upskilling sessions. Develops and implements regular plans (emails, Teams posts, instructions) for individuals to self-nominate.
• Manages learning activity on the learning platform
• Serves as first customer service level to resolve user issues with our Learning Management System as well as T.EN University courses

Learning Design & Content Development

• Designs and implements learning solutions, partnering with SMEs and external third parties
• Proposes new content, new curricula, and modifications to existing structure as needed by the OCs. Works with Subject Matter Experts to develop training programs using Articulate Rise 360

Works with external suppliers when needed, and evaluates learning for effectiveness

Reports on learning activity

• Conducts quality checks on monthly upskilling report and reports potential issues
• Reports on achievement of delivery of the learning plan; interpret trends

Produces reports for managers and insights to support the learning strategy

Communicates and promotes learning activities to strengthen the learning culture across the organization.

• Contributes to the monthly Learning Spotlight and quarterly P&C
• Educates managers and employees on L&D processes

• Bachelor's degree (preference in Instructional Design or Learning & Development)
• At least 5 years' proven experience preferably within an international matrix environment.
• Working knowledge implementing and evaluating e-learning modules
• Proficiency using Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone)
• Proactive approach to problem resolution and assisting others.
• Planning and organizational skills
• Strong commitment to quality, organization and attention to details.
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast pace or deadline driven environment.

Experiences in: Learning Management Systems, Training Logistics and Learning evaluations.

Languages: Fluency in English
