In which organization will you work as a Site Engineer - Mechanical (M/F) ?
We are looking for one of our clients in the Energy & Nuclear Power sector for a Site Engineer - Mechanical (M/F), based in Region PACA for a long-term consultancy mission. for a 12-month assignment, with the possibility of a permanent contract directly with the client.
Position Context
As a key member of the delivery team, you will manage all mechanical activities within your assigned perimeter (area, group of buildings, or technical systems) . Your role is pivotal in ensuring that site progress aligns with technical standards and project schedules through rigorous supervision and expertise .
Site Engineer - Mechanical (M/F) : What will your missions and responsibilities be?
What profile and skills are required for this Site Engineer - Mechanical (M/F) position?
At least 5 years of experience in M/E installation, with expertise in at least one technical discipline.
Specific expertise in the mechanical field is highly welcomed.
Proven track record in off-site supervision (factory/storage) and on-site technical follow-up.
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of mechanical systems, welding, and material testing.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, particularly when dealing with third parties like contractors and clients.
Soft Skills: Highly organized, able to work independently, and capable of performing under pressure within a team environment.
Languages: Fluent in English
Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering .

Site Engineer - Mechanical (M/F) : What will your missions and responsibilities be?
- Quality & Supervision: Implement Quality Control (QC) doctrines and prepare internal surveillance plans by discipline or area. Implement internal supervision procedures and ensure proper execution of quality rules.
- Progress Monitoring: Assess and review initial time schedules, monitor progress at a 3-week look-ahead level, and advise on contractor sequencing, resources, and organization.
- Technical Management: Assess contractor construction documentation (procedures, material documents, technical reports) and validate As-built documentation.
- Problem Solving: Provide expertise in mechanical disciplines, perform technical assessments of Non-Conformities, and manage specialized experts for specific controls (welding, materials testing, etc.).
- Reporting & Liaison: Write monthly reports, attend weekly meetings with contractors, and provide technical support to the Contract Manager and HSE teams.
