Which organization will you join as an Instrumentation Installation Engineer?

We are looking, on behalf of one of our clients in the energy sector, for an Instrumentation Installation Engineer, based in Nanterre.

Instrumentation Installation Engineer: What will your missions and responsibilities be?
  • Work on the 3D model for the instrumentation scope (clash management, support for instrumentation modeling in the 3D model used by our other centers, etc.)
  • Perform bulk instrumentation quantity take-offs (Material Take-Off)
  • Review technical room drawings
  • Check installation layouts
  • Validate routing volumes
  • Interface with Civil Engineering, Electrical, Piping, and our subcontracting centers
  • Prepare installation standards (hook-ups, supports, routing, etc.)
  • Manage and follow up on P&IDs
  • Participate in P&ID review meetings with other disciplines and coordinate with the instrumentation team
  • Provide support for level design studies and review equipment drawings
  • Interface with other disciplines, review and optimize design
  • Update supply specifications, design specifications, and standard drawings (hook-ups, supports, etc.)


What profile and skills are required for this position?
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation installation specifics (cables, cable trays, hook-ups, level studies, building layouts, etc.)
  • Good command of applicable codes and standards (API, IEC, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling software
