Overview

The Sustainability Officer supports the Sustainability Manager in implementing, monitoring, and reporting sustainability initiatives on site. This is a full-time, site-based role.

Your role

• Support implementation of the Sustainability Plan on site.
• Collect and manage sustainability data (energy, water, waste, materials).
• Assist with monthly sustainability reports and documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and compliance monitoring.
• Support environmental controls, waste management, and CSR activities.
• Maintain records, training logs, and audit evidence.
• Promote sustainability awareness among site teams and subcontractors.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in sustainability or environmental roles.
• Familiar with construction site practices and Malaysian regulations.
• Basic reporting and coordination skills.
• Willing to be site-based in Penang.
• Preferred exposure / training: GBI, MyCREST, INFRASTAR, pH-JKR, GreenRE, GreenPASS, ESG or sustainability reporting.
