Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will lead our Low‑Code Automation Team specializing in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse). Each day, you will coach and develop the team, ensure stable capacity planning, and contribute directly to delivery of complex solutions-raising both technical quality and internal customer service.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
This role is contributing to the Ostrava located EUOPC teams focusing on Data Insights and Workflow Automation deliverables . Main stakeholders are ABB divisions and EUOPC teams
You will be mainly accountable for:
You will join a team that combines deep expertise in data, automation, and low‑code engineering with a strong focus on service excellence, operational stability, and continuous improvement. We collaborate closely across the SW ecosystem to deliver smart, scalable, and business‑impactful solutions.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Providing strong senior technological leadership in Power Apps/Power Automate/Dataverse, including solution architecture, standards, and design reviews.
- Ensuring stable capacity planning and predictable utilization; managing intake, prioritization, and cross‑team dependencies.
- Driving professional development of the team (coaching, 1:1s, skill matrices, playbooks) and the maturity of the service (SLAs, KPIs, support model).
- Contributing to project delivery hands‑on for complex features and escalations (proofs of concept, critical flows, performance tuning).
- Owning governance & Application Lifecycle Management: environments, Data Leak Protection, CoE practices, branching/versioning, automated deployments, quality gates, and platform
- monitoring.
- Partnering with internal customers to translate needs into scalable, secure, maintainable low‑code solutions that improve user experience and process efficiency.
- Ensuring flexibility and scalability to support growing organization‑wide demand.
You will join a team that combines deep expertise in data, automation, and low‑code engineering with a strong focus on service excellence, operational stability, and continuous improvement. We collaborate closely across the SW ecosystem to deliver smart, scalable, and business‑impactful solutions.
Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled in Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps (Canvas/Model‑driven), Power Automate (cloud flows), Dataverse, solution design, performance optimization, security roles, and data modeling.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in solution architecture and governance (environment strategy, DLP policies, Center of Excellence practices, ALM, Git‑based workflows, automated deployments).
- You bring a strong background in application development or automation, and you are highly skilled in Power Platform technologies. Experience as a tech lead, lead developer, or senior engineer is a plus.
- Possess enhanced knowledge of Power Fx, connectors/custom connectors, APIs, and integrating with M365/Azure (e.g., Entra ID security, Azure Functions/Logic Apps, DevOps pipelines).
- You are passionate about developing people, service excellence, stakeholder management, and clear, structured communication.
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
- You are at ease communicating in English.
