Which company will you be joining as a "Site Lifting Supervisor (M/F)"?

We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, a Site Lifting Supervisor for a 12-month mission based in Paramaribo, Suriname. The role is to support daily lifting and handling operations across shorebase, yards, berths, and other company locations. It provides the onsite expertise required to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient lifting activities in line with TotalEnergies' HSE standards and international lifting requirements.

"Site Lifting Supervisor (M/F)" What will your missions and responsibilities be?

• Supervise daily lifting and handling operations (risk assessments, hazard identification, toolbox talks, debriefs)
• Review and approve complex lift plans; attend critical lifts
• Inspect and validate lifting equipment (cranes, rigging, forklifts, CCUs) and ensure fitness for purpose
• Ensure compliance with TotalEnergies HSE standards and international lifting regulations
• Perform transport safety checks and monitor adherence to requirements
• Report unsafe acts/conditions, track KPIs, and issue HSE reports
• Support audits and maintain lifting documentation and procedures
• Assess team competence, provide coaching, and support training plans
• Advise Logistics on safety practices, JSAs, inspections, and audits

What profile and skills are required for this "Site Lifting Supervisor (M/F)" role?

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in lifting operations within projects and operations
• Strong knowledge of lifting and handling equipment and operations
• Professional background as Rigger, Rigger Foreman, Rigging Supervisor, Lifting Supervisor, or Lifting Superintendent
• Experience working in accordance with international standards (BS, LOLER, OPITO)
• Minimum 5 years of offshore experience in the oil & gas industry, including heavy lifting operations (Subsea, Drilling, etc.)
• Proven experience in training and coaching personnel
• Knowledge of geotechnical engineering
• Relevant certifications such as LEEA, EAL, CPA, or OPITO
