The Compensation Accounting Analyst is responsible for managing payroll accounting, ensuring the accuracy of payroll posting and analysis of compensation costs. The Compensation Accounting Analyst accounts for all deferred benefit liabilities and confirm accuracy and completeness. This person works closely with Human Resources and Operational Planning and Resource Management functions to understand people moves and optimization of human resources.
  • Monitor payroll posting to ensure accuracy.
  • Review compensation cost lines and relate to business key indicators. Provide cost variance analysis, highlighting opportunities or negative trends.
  • Review valuation, accuracy and completeness of deferred compensation and benefits provisions.
  • Handle intracompany cost recharge requests.
  • Report monthly FP20 compensation lines.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for relevant accounts and certify completeness.
  • Supervise outsourced transactional fixed asset accounting and perform complex transactions.
  • Understand and comply with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
