Job Purpose

The Analyst, Inventory Control is responsible for supporting effective inventory planning, control, and reporting for the Pressure Pumping Division. The role ensures optimal stock availability of materials, chemicals, spare parts, and consumables while minimizing excess, obsolescence, and operational downtime. The position supports cost control, operational efficiency, and compliance with ADNOC Drilling policies and systems.

Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)

Key Accountabilities
  • Monitor and control inventory levels for pressure pumping materials, chemicals, spare parts, and consumables across warehouses and field locations.
  • Analyze inventory consumption trends and support demand forecasting in coordination with operations, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
  • Track stock movements (receipts, issues, transfers, and returns) and ensure accuracy in ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
  • Identify slow‑moving, excess, obsolete, or expired inventory and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation activities to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare regular inventory reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for management review.
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment aligned with operational requirements.
  • Support compliance with ADNOC Drilling inventory control procedures, HSE requirements, and internal controls.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory processes, data quality, and cost optimization.


Minimum Qualification

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline.

Minimum Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or supply chain analytics, preferably within oilfield services or energy sector operations.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
  • Exposure to field‑based or operations‑driven environments (e.g. pressure pumping, drilling, completions, or maintenance) is an advantage.
