JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

  • Prepare book-tax differences for both tax provision and tax returns.
  • Prepare tax return workpapers and tax returns (federal, state, informational)
  • Assist with the reconciliation of income tax accounts.
  • Maintain tax files/records (Including SOX documentation)
  • Research federal and state income tax issues.
  • Other tax responsibilities as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Minimum of two years experience in a corporate tax department or public accounting.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with good communication skills
  • A willingness to grow and learn


Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or CPA eligible
  • Experience with CorpTax
  • Need to be adept at working in a dynamic and complex environment while leveraging available technology.
