Your role and responsibilities

ABB Motion is gearing up for an exciting new chapter and is looking for a seasoned HSE Manager to lead a high‑performing team of HSE professionals. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of shaping capability, elevating skills, and empowering the team to deliver real impact. Every day brings the chance to influence how the business brings its policies, practices, and programs to life.

You'll also play a pivotal role in driving meaningful behavioral change and fostering a culture of continuous HSE learning across the organization-showcasing your expertise while helping others grow.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting line managers and supervisors in the organization in understanding obligations, liabilities and requirements
• Ensuring appropriate tools and measures are in place and used effectively, at the same time reporting the HSE incidents.
• Reporting on HSE performance and progress with respect to the Group objectives
• Drive behavioral change and ensuring HSE capabilities are optimized and aligned to standards and best practices

Qualifications for the role

• Proven experience leading a team, implementing safety management systems, and influencing safety culture is essential.
• Bachelor's degree in OHS, Environmental Science, or related field, or extensive relevant experience.
• Proven experience with AS/NZS 4801/ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Strong people leadership, risk management, and regulatory compliance expertise.
• Membership of the AIHS is preferred
