Construction Manager required by our Client, an Oil and Gas EPC Contractor, to be assigned in Jakarta, Indonesia

DURATION Permanent, residential status
SCHEDULE Monday - Friday

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Day to day management of operations on site, ensuring that the project is brought to a successful completion and meets the required time and quality constraints.
• Liaise with the Project Director to ensure adequate labor and sub-contract resource is available on site.
• Plan and efficiently organize the site facilities, ensuring all equipment on site are fit for purpose.
• Liaise with the Project Director for the requisition of all materials and oversee the deliveries in line with the construction program and procurement schedule.
• Supervise, manage, and motivate site construction teams including effective management of productivity and sub-contractor activities on site in order to meet key milestones of the master schedule.
• Ensure workmanship and material standards are met as per specifications, health and safety legislation as well as quality standards.
  • Attend all necessary site meetings.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of own activity to enable traceability.
• Conducting safety inspections and fulfilling the health, safety and welfare responsibilities as detailed in the Contractor's corporate Policy.
• Maintain quality control procedures in accordance with ISO 9001

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• • 15+ years of proven relevant experience in large building project construction/ coordination
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering preferred
  • Good understanding of MEP trades
  • Experienced in managing various subcontractors
  • Experience in South-East Asia preferred
  • Fluency in (oral & written) English is mandatory
