Requirements

As a 2nd Engineer, you'll be hands-on with our vital machinery, ensuring smooth operations. You'll:

• Take charge of operating, monitoring, and maintaining main engines, generators, and all auxiliary machinery, keeping everything running perfectly.
• Jump in to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, honing your problem-solving skills with every challenge.
• Be key in supporting the operation and maintenance of our specialized fallpipe, trenching, and hydraulic power equipment, learning new systems daily.
• Perform routine inspections and planned maintenance diligently, following our PMS to the letter, which helps you grow your expertise.
• Supervise and guide our Motormen/Greasers, sharing your knowledge and developing your leadership as a 2nd Engineer.
