Overview
We are looking for an experienced Cloud & IT Operations Manager to lead and manage both customer-facing cloud infrastructure and internal IT systems. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced SaaS environment, ensuring operational excellence, security compliance, and outstanding service delivery. You will oversee cloud hosting services, data centre management, and internal IT operations, while driving process improvements and aligning technology with business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Cloud Infrastructure:

• Implement, manage, and optimise cloud environments, ensuring high availability and SLA compliance.
• Plan for capacity, performance, and business continuity while managing operational budgets.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions.
• Lead discussions and meetings with customers on cloud operations.
• Support pre-sales and marketing activities related to cloud infrastructure, including demo environments and proposals.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of customer configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and report on cloud infrastructure performance and health.

Internal IT Infrastructure:

• Lead the internal IT team, managing networks, servers, and end-user devices.
• Oversee IT budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
• Deliver timely IT support to employees and resolve hardware, software, or network issues.
• Maintain IT documentation, policies, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with departments to provide tailored IT solutions that enable business objectives.
• Plan, manage, and execute IT projects to time, budget, and quality standards.

Security & Compliance:

• Establish and enforce cybersecurity measures for both cloud and internal systems.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and proactively mitigate risks.
• Ensure operations comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Leadership & Strategic Management:

• Recruit, train, and develop IT staff, ensuring team performance and growth.
• Make operational decisions regarding resource allocation, IT policies, and project prioritisation.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence KPIs.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT management, leading cloud hosting or SaaS infrastructure teams.
• Strong expertise in IT infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, remote access, etc.).
• Cloud technology certifications preferred (AWS, Azure, or similar).
• Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Experience

• Experience managing SaaS or Cloud ERP environments.
• Familiarity with regulatory audits and standards (e.g., ISAE, SOC).
• Prior involvement in pre-sales, marketing support, or customer-facing IT operations.
