Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sourcing Lead - Projects to join our team at BP Business Service Centre Asia Sdn Bhd. This role is responsible for leading complex sourcing initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment, and optimizing value throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for various projects, aligning with business objectives and leveraging market insights.
• Manage end-to-end contract creation, negotiation, and handover processes, ensuring compliance and optimal terms for BP.
• Conduct thorough analytical thinking to find opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and value creation in sourcing activities.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding their project requirements and effectively managing expectations.
• Drive supplier selection processes, including due diligence, evaluation, and recommendation, to secure high-performing and reliable partners.
• Implement and manage supplier performance and relationship management frameworks, fostering continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Apply Agility core practices and use Agility tools to enhance project sourcing efficiency and adaptability.
• Lead complex negotiations, developing robust negotiation plans and preparations to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Oversee contract management throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions and proactive issue resolution.
• Demonstrate strong business insight to understand the broader impact of sourcing decisions on project success and overall company performance.

Job Qualifications

• Proven experience in a lead sourcing or procurement role, specifically within a project driven environment
• Expertise in Agility core practices and proficiency in using Agility tools.
• Demonstrated success in agreements and negotiations, including advanced negotiation planning and preparation.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a detailed oriented.
• Excellent business acumen with the ability to understand complex business needs and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.
• Extensive experience in contract creation, handover, implementation, and comprehensive contract management.
• Exceptional stakeholder management abilities, capable of influencing and collaborating effectively across all levels.
• Proven track record in supplier performance management, supplier relationship management, and strategic supplier selection.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
