We are recruiting, on behalf of one of our clients, a Topsides Engineering Leader for a 12-month mission based in Paris (France). This mission is on a residential basis, with no option for rotation.

"Topsides Engineering Leader (M/F)" What will your missions and responsibilities be?

Activities

• Engineering & Team Leadership: Led and coordinated the engineering team; supervised studies and contractor work to ensure specs, schedule, cost, and safety compliance
• HSEQ & Project Management: Promoted safety, quality, and ethical standards; managed interfaces and optimized resources across engineering activities
• Communication & Process Improvement: Maintained stakeholder reporting; collected lessons learned and applied improvements to enhance project outcomes

Goals & Key Deliverables

• Engineering Management: Coordinate and manage engineering activities across multiple projects, ensuring compliance with HSE rules, budget, and schedule
• Team Leadership & Deliverables: Lead and motivate the engineering team; ensure timely review, issuance, and quality of project deliverables (PEP, PQP, Risks)
• Contractor & Interface Oversight: Provide contractors with required information, manage technical queries, and coordinate interfaces with other packages and teams
• Design & Lessons Learned: Ensure engineering designs are fit-for-purpose, operable, maintainable, and reliable; integrate lessons learned from previous projects

What profile and skills are required for this "Topsides Engineering Leader (M/F)" role?

Qualifications & Experience required

• Qualification: Degree in Engineering
• Professional Experience: 15 years in the Oil & Gas industry with extensive experience in brownfield projects, engineering, and offshore operations
• Languages: Fluent English; Portuguese, and French are a plus
• Required competencies: Quality & HSE, Engineering, Project Management (budget, cost, schedule), installation/hook-up & commissioning, production & operation, interface management, procurement engineering & follow-up
