CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT (BUILDING WORKS) required by our Client, an Oil and Gas EPC Contractor, to be assigned in Jakarta, Indonesia.

DURATION Permanent, residential status
SCHEDULE Monday - Friday

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and lead all subcontractors for building works and architectural trades throughout duration of the project.
• Liaise with the Construction Manager to ensure adequate labor and sub-contract resource is available on site.
• Manage a team of supervisors and monitor the day to day activities of subcontractors to ensure key schedule milestones are met.
• Ensure workmanship and material standards are achieved in accordance with specifications, health and safety legislation as well as quality standards.
• Attend all necessary site meetings.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of own activity to enable traceability.
• Carrying out safety inspections and fulfilling the health and safety responsibilities as detailed in the Contractor's corporate Policy.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• 15+ years of proven relevant experience in large building works project.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
• Experienced in managing subcontractors.
• Experience in South-East Asia preferred.
