We are seeking a "Food Laboratory Analyst (Additives, Residues, Mycotoxins)" for the Food Laboratory team at the Intertek Turkey office.

• A graduate of a university's Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry program
• With a minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience
• Experienced in operating HPLC, LC-MS/MS, and GC-MS instruments, and preferably experienced in food analysis, particularly mycotoxin and additive residue analysis
• Proficient in the ISO 17025 Quality Management System, with knowledge and experience in laboratory accreditation processes, and quality and customer-focused
• Competent in relationship management and teamwork
• Possesses analytical thinking skills
• Has a good command of English
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Ensure that analyses conducted in the Food Laboratory's Additives, Residues, and Mycotoxins Unit are performed in accordance with ISO 17025 Quality Management System requirements; actively contribute to quality processes; and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor applied analytical methods and relevant national/international legislation and regulations; provide support for method implementation as needed
• Participate in method validation (validation/verification) studies and take part in the processes of adapting methods to the laboratory
• Conduct analyses within the scope of accreditation in accordance with requirements and support accreditation audit processes
• Contribute to efforts aimed at increasing efficiency in analysis processes; work in accordance with 5S and Lean Management practices
• Report analysis results accurately, completely, and on time; maintain necessary records regularly
• Ensure the proper use of equipment, instruments, and consumables within the laboratory, and provide support for maintenance and calibration processes
• Work in compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and strictly adhere to laboratory safety procedures.
