Job Description

The Tax Specialist will support the Group Tax Director in managing NMDC Group's tax compliance, reporting, and advisory functions across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves ensuring compliance with direct and indirect taxes while optimizing tax efficiencies.
  • Contribute to NMDC Group global tax compliance, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions, including the UAE, Egypt, India, and KSA.
  • Collaborate with finance teams and external advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings, audits, and reporting.
  • Handle tax inquiries and audits, ensuring a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on tax matters, including conducting workshops or presentations to educate employees on tax implications of their activities.
  • Assist in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating tax risk across the group.
  • Collaborate effectively to maintain high standards of tax reporting and compliance.
  • Minimum 5-8 years' experience in Tax, Accounting & Finance in related industries, including handling Corporate Tax, VAT and perhaps transfer pricing (optional).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy (preferably Tax related), or equivalent Tax qualification preferred such as ATT Tax Diploma, ADIT, etc.
  • Experience in international tax compliance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
