Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

This role is contributing to the Marketing & Sales Electrification Segmentin USA.

You will be mainly accountable for:

1. Sales support: Offers technical advice and provides comment on specifications for customers/channels/Sales Engineers regarding ABB products/systems/applications.

2. Project Execution: Plans and implements multiple simultaneous electrical projects at various customer work sites in the US, including the activities of staff and subcontractors. Identifies and manages opportunities to expand projects in ways that bring value to our customer and satisfy profitability requirements, including change orders. Electrical projects will be focused in the commercial construction markets and may include, but are not limited to, retail, airports, entertainment, hospitals, education (schools, colleges, universities), multi-story residential and Data Centers.

3. Customer Representation: Serves as the primary customer contact for the duration of each project. May commission, resolve specification issues, handle correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/coordinate with staff as appropriate.

4. Presentations: Prepares and delivers technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues.

5. Training: Offers product/solution/service-related training to customers and other stakeholders.

6. Technical Documentation: Prepares and checks technical documents for submittal to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
• Minimum 5 additional year of experience in a project management, engineering or manufacturing role;
• Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team / organization, including
• High energy level, self-starter, highly analytical, and strong customer service
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and sense of urgency in dealing with tasks.
• Experience in electrical manufacturing for switchboards, transformers, panelboards, motor c ontrol centers, and/or other electrical components
• Advanced English Level
