Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Business Investment Analyst to support strategic investment decisions at BP Business Solutions India. This role involves rigorous financial analysis, market assessment, and collaborator engagement to drive value creation.
Job Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive analysis and modelling of potential business investments, projects, and acquisitions.
* Apply strong commercial acumen to evaluate the financial viability and strategic fit of investment opportunities within BP's portfolio.
* Perform detailed economic evaluation methodology including NPV, IRR, and payback period analysis to assess project returns and risks.
* Support corporate finance activities, including capital allocation, financial structuring, and risk management related to investments.
* Prepare and present clear, concise financial reporting and investment summaries to senior management and partners.
* Lead and participate in market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities within relevant sectors.
* Build and maintain strong relationships through effective participant
engagement, including internal teams and external partners.
* Utilize investment appraisal techniques to provide recommendations on project approvals, divestments, and strategic partnerships.
* Demonstrate a keen understanding of regional perspective to tailor investment strategies and analyses to the specific market conditions in India and the broader region.
* Effectively communicate complex financial information and influence decision-making through compelling presentations and written reports.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a relatMaster's degree or equivalent experience field. A Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.
* Proven experience in financial analysis, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
* Exceptional analytical and financial modelling skills.
* Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and economic evaluation methodologies.
* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated ability to influence collaborators at various levels.
* Solid experience in market analysis and competitive landscaping.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
