MAIN DUTIES
QUALIFICATIONS
PREFERRED
MAIN DUTIES
- Reading RFQ from Client, being able to understand and mapping the points in the RFQ.
- Perform Material Take Off (MTO review) from tender and IFC drawings.
- Prepare cost estimation breakdown (material, manpower, equipment, subcontract).
- Support preparation of BOQ and commercial submission documents.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Project, Production teams etc.
- Conduct material price benchmarking and vendor quotation review.
- Assist in technical and commercial clarification during tender stage.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma 3 in mechanical / marine / civil / industrial engineering.
- Fresh graduate or 1 - 5 years' experience in:
- Estimating
- Quantity Surveyor / Cost control
- Project Engineer.
- Mechanical Engineer.
- Planner.
- Project fabrication.
- Able to read structural & fabrication drawings.
- Strong proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office package i.e Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, Ms. Power Point, Ms. Project Etc.
- AutoCad.
- Basic understanding of fabrication process and material take-off.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- English proficiency (written & spoken).
PREFERRED
- Experience in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineer, Drafter, fabrication yard in Marine or Oil and gas.
- Familiar with ASME, NORSOK / API / DNV standards etc.
- Knowledge of heavy steel structure projects.
- Familiar with ERP system (SAP / Oracle).
