Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: on site

This role is contributing to the electrification division in México.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Responsible for executing order management activities to ensure timely shipments and proactive customer communication through Salesforce. Conduct daily follow-ups to monitor order progress and address any issues.
• Order Tracking & Coordination:
  Monitor and track order status, working closely with the planning team to ensure alignment and on-time fulfillment.
• System Navigation:
  Utilize internal systems to efficiently track, update, and manage order statuses.
• Communication:
  Maintain clear, consistent, and effective communication with customers, sales teams, logistics, and internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
• Problem Solving:
  Identify, analyze, and resolve order-related issues, including delays, discrepancies, and system errors, ensuring minimal impact on delivery timelines.Reporting & Analysis:
  Support the creation of reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel, providing insights into order performance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications for the role

• Fluent in English (written and spoken) - mandatory.
• Currently studying in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience or strong interest in Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Analytical mindset and attention to details.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
