This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.

This role contributes to Process Automation in the Energy division in the Bangalore, India region

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
• Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.
• Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.
• Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.

Qualifications for the role

• You are immersed in the engineering and commissioning of Electrical Power Management systems and the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical market.
• You have 10+ years of experience in engineering, commissioning, and technical support for Electrical Power Management systems.
• You are highly adept in CILMS, EDMS, ECS, IEC61850, SAS, Load shedding, Load sharing, PQ Control, Synchronization, ABB Control builder, GOOSE, PCM600, IET600, IED, MFM, Modbus, IEC103, Profibus protocols. CILMS, EDMS, ECS, IEC61850, SAS
• You are motivated by customer service and problem-solving, with a focus on delivering high-quality, timely solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering with professional experience in Electrical Power Management.
• You are proficient in communicating in English and any other popular Indian languages.
