They are hiring a Facility Manager to support construction delivery and take ownership of critical operations once the facility goes live.The RoleYou will start by supporting the Project and Construction team through the build phase of a new data centre campus. This includes HT consumer landing station construction, M&E systems installation, defect inspections, and witness testing and commissioning.Once the facility is operational, you will shift into a Critical Operations Manager role. You will lead day-to-day operations, drive 100% uptime, and manage the site engineering team.What You Will DoCritical Systems and InfrastructureServe as SME across critical electrical and mechanical systemsManage HT switchgear, UPS, DC battery systems, PDUs, HT generators, ACMV, CRAC units, chillers, and fire protection systemsTroubleshoot critical facility systems hands-onCommand Centre and MonitoringOversee Building Management System monitoringManage incident escalation, root cause analysis, reporting, and closureHandle work order managementChange and Engineering ProceduresImplement Change Control processes including MOPs, Work Method Statements, and LOTO requirementsEnsure all MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs are current and understood by the teamCompliance and SafetyMaintain full compliance with regulatory requirements, licences, and certificationsPartner with the EHS Manager to identify and resolve safety hazardsMaintenance and Asset ManagementDevelop and manage annual preventive maintenance and capital plansPlan for infrastructure upgrades and equipment replacementDocumentation and ReportingMaintain operational records, building drawings, and single-line diagramsSubmit accurate customer reports in line with SLA and Master Services Agreement requirementsVendor and Stakeholder ManagementManage vendor qualification, training, and compliance for critical environment workCommunicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and vendorsTeam LeadershipLead site engineering teams across workforce planning, performance, coaching, and developmentOn-Call RequirementsAvailable 24x7 for after-hours, public holiday, and emergency supportWhat You NeedDegree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent8 to 12 years of experience in facilities management or mission-critical environmentsProven hands-on experience with HT electrical systems, UPS, generators, ACMV/CRAC, and fire protection systemsExperience in M&E systems installation, testing, commissioning, and defect management during construction phasesProfessional certifications in facilities management or data centre operations are an advantageTraining in LOTO, Change Management, or EHS practices is a plus
