This role will focus on supervising night shift civil and cabling works, ensuring delivery is aligned with project specifications and the highest safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise civil and HDD works during night shiftsOversee cabling activities, including trenching, ducting, and installationEnforce compliance with HSE plans, CPP, ERP, RAMS, and ITPsCoordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure efficient workflowManage interfaces between multiple contractors on siteConduct regular inspections and ensure all safety controls are implementedVerify workforce competency and ensure adherence to site proceduresEnsure all equipment is fit for purpose and safely operatedPromote and lead a strong safety-first cultureReport progress, issues, and lessons learned to project managementScope of Works IncludesHorizontal Directional Drilling (HDD)Trenching, duct installation, and backfillingLand cable installation and joint bay excavationSite preparation and enabling worksLandfall civil works and cable installationRequirementsExperience & Qualifications:Minimum 5 years' experience as a Civil Supervisor or Site ManagerStrong experience in HDD and civil works on infrastructure projectsExperience in power or telecom cable installation projects preferredProven ability to manage subcontractors and review technical documentation (RAMS, ITPs)Experience coordinating multiple contractors within a live siteTechnical Knowledge:Health and Safety at Work ActCDM Regulations 2015Temporary Works (BS 5975)National Grid or SSEN standards (desirable)Certifications (Required):SMSTS (minimum SSSTS)CSCS CardTemporary Works Coordinator (TWC) or Supervisor (TWS)Desirable:First AidMental Health First AidFirefighting training
