KBR is seeking a Treasury Manager in Houston, TX to lead core treasury functions focused on optimizing liquidity, forecasting cash flow, and mitigating financial risk. This role oversees cash management, foreign exchange, debt, and capital structure activities while driving efficiency and cost optimization, and is responsible for leading treasury operations, managing team performance, and delivering on functional objectives. The Treasury Manager will also contribute to treasury strategy, including automation, global process improvements, and M&A support, while partnering cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, and Investor Relations, and serving as a key liaison to banking partners and rating agencies to strengthen treasury infrastructure and overall team performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop treasury operations, managing team performance to achieve financial and operational objectives
  • Review and approve electronic payments, ensuring compliance with internal controls and authorization frameworks
  • Manage foreign exchange and interest rate risk, including exposure identification, hedging strategies, and ongoing monitoring
  • Oversee debt and capital structure activities, including obligations tracking, repayments, and cost analysis
  • Lead short- and long-term cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization initiatives in partnership with FP&A and Accounting
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and policy enhancements to strengthen treasury operations and efficiency
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, and Investor Relations, and support strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions
  • Manage banking relationships, services, and fee structures, identifying opportunities for cost optimization
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements, regulatory standards, and industry best practices

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, CFA, CTP) preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive treasury or finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong expertise in cash management, liquidity planning, foreign exchange, debt management, and treasury operations
  • Experience in a multinational or global environment, with exposure to cross-border cash management and banking structures
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments, including derivatives and hedging strategies
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to develop teams and drive performance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across functions and with external partners
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in treasury management systems, banking platforms, and advanced Excel; experience with ERP systems and data/analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred

Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
