Short Description

The Chief Storekeeper oversees all vessel storage operations, managing the general warehouse and deck stores to ensure accurate inventory control, timely supply distribution, and smooth logistical support. This role is responsible for organizing and maintaining stock levels, supervising storekeeping activities, and ensuring all storage procedures are executed efficiently and in line with vessel operational requirements.

Function Description

As a Chief Storekeeper onboard Semi-Submersible crane vessel, you will be responsible of:

• Manage stores on board, comprising deck, technical and electrical equipment and materials.
• Ensure availability of services and adequate stock of material (requisitions).
• Ensure accurate waste management including records.
• Manage all offshore material handling including initiation of logistics of transports from and to the vessel.
• Ensure availability and storage of (project) materials during offshore projects.
• Advise the project team on alternative rigging arrangement requirements during project execution with available equipment and means.
• Keep certification up-to-date.

• UK National or UK FWP (Frontier Worker Permit)
• Passport
• Panamanian Seaman's Book
• BOSIET, including HUET, CA-EBS
• STCW and OPITO approved health certificate
• STCW Basic Safety A-VI/1
• STCW Certificate of Proficiency Security Awareness A-VI/6-1
• Rescue from Heights/Rescue from Confined Spaces training
