Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the organization's vision and strategic direction. Each day, you will define, manage, and monitor processes to meet requirements for Information Systems (IS) services by planning, measuring, and improving all aspects of IS services. You will also showcase your expertise by being a key resource, a definitive source of knowledge processes, to contribute to enhancing organizational effectiveness.

This role is contributing to the ELSE/ELDS divisions.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Describing and defining IT processes and services, including their relationships, dependencies, and business value, and ensuring that all service-related information is regularly maintained within the service management tool
• Supporting the delivery team in resolving issues, as well as delegating tasks and assigning priorities
• Applying and executing appropriate measurement and reporting management practices to enable effective planning, control, and review of services in line with agreed Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets
• Defining and coordinating the delivery of improvements to the quality of applications and services, ensuring alignment with business needs
• Reviewing and approving vendor contracts to ensure effective application support
• Providing consultation and advice, as well as supporting the implementation of new IT services or changes to existing ones
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with business representatives and support teams
• Collaborating with other ABB IT units in accordance with the IT Service Management framework

Qualifications for the role

• Master degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in managing global IT applications and working with IT Service Management concepts (ITIL)
• Responsibility for an end-to-end delivery, independence, discipline, ability to work under time pressure
• Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken)
• Experience in Agile/Waterfall methodology
• Knowledge of MyService tool and Jira products is a plus
