IOTA GROUP is a recognized engineering consulting company operating in the energy, Oil & Gas, and infrastructure sectors. As part of our involvement in major international projects, we are currently looking for a Senior Welding Engineer to support a large-scale LNG project.

Job Description

As a Senior Welding Engineer, you will be involved in both project execution and tender phases within a Subsea environment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Performing studies related to welding systems and technologies for subsea structures (SURF / ILS)
• Reviewing and analyzing project documentation (client specifications, project deliverables, vendor and subcontractor documents)
• Ensuring technical compliance with client and project requirements
• Applying and ensuring compliance with international codes and standards
• Contributing to the preparation and review of technical deliverables
• Ensuring the overall quality and consistency of engineering documentation

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Significant experience in welding engineering within the Oil & Gas / Subsea sector
• Strong expertise in welding technologies applied to subsea structures
• Good knowledge of the following codes and standards:
  • DNV OS F101
  • API 1104
  • ASME IX / ASME BPVC
  • AWS D1.1
• Experience on international projects is a plus
• Fluent in English (working language)

Additional Information

• Start in Paris: April 15th, 2026 (2 weeks)
• Mobilization in Egypt: starting May 2nd, 2026
• Rotation options:
  • 8 weeks ON Egypt / 2 weeks OFF
  • OR 2 weeks ON Egypt / 2 weeks Paris, France
• Duration: 12 months
