Seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to manage and lead technical activities related to engine hardware and constraint management at suppliers. This role is critical to ensuring timely New Product Introduction (NPI) industrialization and driving delivery performance that generates measurable value for the business. The successful candidate will proactively identify systemic technical issues at a supplier-wide level, leveraging collaborative approaches to empower suppliers to resolve constraints independently while driving accountability across the supply chain. Role Overview:
- Lead supplier accounts across varying levels of complexity, addressing technical challenges and escalating issues to higher-level resources and engineering support when necessary.
- Drive on-time industrialisation of new products and lead yield improvement initiatives
- Ensure technical data sharing with suppliers complies with internal and external requirements. Support warranty investigations and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
- Support SQDC daily management utilizing the lean fundamentals to facilitate technical problem solving and foster a continuous improvement culture with suppliers. Drives systemic change to address root cause findings.
- Build strong relationship with both suppliers & customers through collaboration, technical resource and continuous improvement initiatives with end customer voices in mind.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet compliance standards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and customer requirements. Share best practices and product learning across the supplier network.
- Provide technical support and make informed decisions related to customer orders, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational excellence
Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate shall have combination of good technical knowledge and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience as well as eagerness to learn and apply the technical knowledge in regulated shopfloor operation environment. An individual who can drive initiatives that aligns with business goals and foster long-term customer & supplier relationships. The candidate shall also exhibit strong skills in project and time management, a collaborative mindset to integrate their work with broader team efforts, and continuous improvement with safety-first mindset
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Aerospace MRO activities, such as component repair, shop operations, or repair engineering.
- Knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
