JOB DESCRIPTION

Function Objectives

• Enable business opportunities for process systems via tender support.
• Develop tendering plan and strategy, outlining key objective, timelines and resources plan.
• Coordinate with various department within the company to gather necessary information including technical specification/requirement, costing, terms and conditions documentations.
• Ensure all tender submission are complete, accurate and compliant.
• Prepare for Management approval
• Whenever required, Senior Proposal Engineer shall involve in negotiation with clients to clarify details and finalize of contract terms as per approved proposal.
• Analyse the outcome of tender submitted and conduct lesson learned when required.
• Maintain and keep records of all correspondence, clarification, contracts and documentation during tender activities

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents to understand scope, requirements, and feasibility
• Manage end-to-end tender process, including coordination with internal teams (Sales, Engineering, Legal, Finance, etc.)
• Develop competitive proposals, including pricing, risk assessment, and project schedule
• Ensure all technical and commercial requirements are clearly addressed
• Act as the main point of coordination between internal stakeholders and the client during tendering
• Prepare and submit proposal documentation and obtain necessary approvals
• Support clarification with clients and participate in meetings when required
• Review contract documents (LOI/PO) and support project handover to execution team
• Provide support to project team during execution to ensure alignment with agreed scope
• Identify risks, ensure proper mitigation, and capture lessons learned

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in tendering, proposal, or project engineering (Oil & Gas / process systems preferred)
• Strong understanding of commercial terms, contracts, and risk management
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Able to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams
• Familiar with international Oil & Gas standards
• Proficient in MS Office tools
