Job Description
- Manage Celma Accessories engineering organization in accordance with SQDIP principles.
- Work as a technical support to operational KPIs targets achievement.
- Make sure engineering team is following GE Aerospace Behaviors and FLIGHT DECK Fundamentals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make sure quality metrics are achieved.
- Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems as part of daily activities.
- Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
- Responsible for maintaining readiness, technical ability, and regulatory requirements to ensure delivery.
- Drive productivity projects aiming cost reduction.
- FLIGHT DECK: Develop culture that fosters lean transformation, execution, and leadership development.
- Enhance FLIGHT DECK methodology through engineers.
- Work with operational manager to ensure the deliveries are carried out accordingly.
- Ensure processes compliance and that the team fully complies with integrity guidelines.
Required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering.
- Extensive experience in Aviation Engineering and/or Operations Management.
- knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and FLIGHT DECK methodology.
- Experience in production, supervision, and people management.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Desired
- Demonstrated ability to lead within a matrix organization.
- Experience in technical/engineering collaboration.
- Ability to influence with humility and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Accessories engineering and operational knowledge
- To have led at least one Kaizen event.
