JOB DESCRIPTION

Be part of the solution with Technip Energies and join us for a unique career opportunity.
You will contribute to developing cutting-edge solutions to address the energy challenges facing our world.

We are currently looking for a Vendor Data Coordinator (M/F) to join our team based in Nanterre (92), France.

Your team
Within the Engineering Division of Technip Energies Paris office, you will report to the Digitalization & Information Management department.

With 60 years of experience in energy project design, the division is made up of 600 people representing all the disciplines involved in our facilities (more than 20).

Driven by the TEN Groups values of inclusion, the division relies on the diversity of its members to move forward. This position is therefore open to everyone, and each application will be carefully considered.
Your playground
Within a multicultural task force, you will take part in the engineering and design of projects carried out by TEN France for the Groups various Business Lines: decarbonized solutions (CO₂ capture, hydrogen, wind power), LNG, or biofuels.

These projects are most often international, and you will interface with teams from other disciplines within TEN (Process, Equipment, Instrumentation, Electrical, as well as Project Management, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning), as well as with our mainly international partners (clients, suppliers and subcontractors, value engineering partners, etc.).
Your daily activities
  • Work with the Information Manager on drafting procedures, specifications, and work instructions, in line with contractual requirements and project-related data management needs
  • Ensure that these documents are clearly understood and properly applied by all project stakeholders
  • Participate in the implementation of the Engineering Data Warehouse, in collaboration with technical teams (a database centralizing all collected tags and data)
  • Take part in clarification meetings and purchase order kick-off meetings with suppliers and subcontractors, to explain data management requirements and expected deliverables
  • Generate, for each purchase order, templates for the different registers, pre-filled with existing data
  • Ensure that deliverables are received within the required deadlines
  • Once received, verify the data in the various registers (compliance with component numbering procedures, completeness, consistency with deliverables, etc.)
  • In collaboration with the engineer responsible for purchase order follow-up, comment on the registers to highlight detected errors; if necessary, organize clarification meetings with the supplier
  • Once the data reaches sufficient maturity, upload it into the data warehouse and verify consistency with already consolidated data
  • Ensure the quality of data within the data warehouse
  • Produce status reports and quality indicators (status by supplier, completion rates, etc.)
  • Generate and deliver project data-related deliverables, ensuring data quality and integrity
Why you will like this role
  • A position that combines technical skills with data management and digital tools
  • A transversal role, interacting with multiple engineering disciplines (equipment, piping, instrumentation, electrical, telecoms, etc.)
Your strengths to succeed
You are the ideal candidate if you hold an engineering degree (ideally in Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation), have a strong interest in data, and can demonstrate experience in this field (data collection and verification, handling large volumes of data, database experience).

You enjoy working in multicultural teams and demonstrate flexibility and open-mindedness. You are keen to better understand disciplinary workflows, data sources, and data flows.

Your analytical mindset, technical understanding of data, and good level of English will be key to quickly integrating and performing within our teams.

A good command of Power BI would be a plus, in addition to your proficiency with standard IT tools (Office suite, particularly Excel). Knowledge of AVEVA Engineering would be an additional asset.

All our positions are open to people with disabilities.
Your career prospects
Your career progression at TEN could lead to team management roles, or to technical specialization and expertise. Technip Energies strongly promotes internal mobility, both within the group (international relocation or local contracts abroad), and potential moves toward other transversal departments.
Our benefits
  • Based in the Origine building, certified by several environmental labels (The 100 iconic sustainable buildings in the world), featuring two restaurants, a cafeteria, gym, and coworking spaces
  • Benefits include profit-sharing and incentive schemes, 100% public transport coverage, and a Works Council
  • Hybrid work model: up to 2 days of remote work per week, supporting work-life balance
  • Three career reviews per year: Mid-Year Review, professional interview, and annual review
