IOTA Group is recruiting for Mozambique LNG project. The Mozambique LNG project is a world-class onshore gas development requiring high standards of safety, quality, and execution. As part of the commissioning team, the Commissioning Building Lead will play a key role in delivering all stick-built buildings and associated systems, ensuring they are fully tested, compliant, and ready for safe start-up and handover to Operations.

Job Description

• Lead commissioning activities for building systems including LV electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and telecom
• Supervise and coordinate contractors and vendors during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases
• Ensure all systems are completed in line with project specifications and ready for start-up (RFSU)
• Interface with engineering, construction, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution
• Monitor progress and ensure activities are completed safely and on schedule
• Support development of commissioning procedures and deliverables during engineering phase
• Ensure proper testing, documentation, and handover of buildings to Operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years of experience in onshore projects
• At least 10 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Minimum 10 years of experience in commissioning buildings or similar systems
• Proven experience in senior commissioning roles (5+ years)
• Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, telecom)
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commitment to safety and project delivery
